    About Me

    Partner – Purple Ventures Management Consultants LLP

    Ateet Sanghavi created Purple Ventures Management Consultants LLP in 2009 to provide 360º services across business life cycles, with a core focus on start-ups and emerging businesses.

    Since then, Purple Ventures has converted ideas into successful and sustainable business ventures, through innovation and technology. The organization has successfully provided a wide array of services such as business incubation and consulting expertise in areas like finance, strategy, marketing and information technology.

    Prior to Purple Ventures, Ateet was part of the Investment Banking/ Mergers and Acquisitions Department at Bank of America Merrill Lynch (previously known as DSP Merrill Lynch Ltd). During his tenure, Ateet raised over USD 8.0 billion through some of India’s largest capital market/M&A deals.

    Ateet has a Bachelors & Masters in Commerce & Economics and another Masters in Business Administration from Mumbai University. He has also graduated from the prestigious Wharton Business School’s Executive Program on Investment Banking.

    Ateet is a part of the board of directors of several listed and non-listed companies in India and internationally, as a director or  honorary board member and also as an advisor or a mentor.

    He is a guest faculty at  Welingkar Institute of Management Development & Research and IES Management College and Research Centre, where he trains and mentors students (including senior executives) on entrepreneurship, management and corporate finance, risk and regulations.  Ateet is a mentor, teacher and curriculum specialist for YEA India (Young Entrepreneurs Academy) which teaches entrepreneurship to students from age group of 11-18.

    As part of his personal social responsibility, Ateet is also a mentor at Dasra, one of India’s leading strategic philanthropy foundations. He is a part of the various committees and forums at Bombay Chamber of Commerce & Industry including their Private Equity and Venture Capital Funds Committee, Startup Forum and Young Bombay Forum (YBF). As part of the YBF, Ateet has actively been involved in founding and incubating their Shadow the leader program.

    It has been over a decade since Ateet has shared his experience and expertise to mentor various for profit and not-for-profit entrepreneurs and leaders, and he passionately intends on creating a deeper social impact by leveraging various social media platforms.

    As part of his endeavor to give back to the society, He mentors entrepreneurs every Saturday between 3 – 6 pm near Marine Drive, Mumbai India on a Pro Bono Basis.
